I was all excited to get the magic slide for my fat PS2, and now I can't get my tray open at all now! I put the magic swap CD in, and it didn't say Insert Disc, so I tried to pull the tray out. It wouldn't come out all the way (just a little even with some pulling, can't even see the end of the CD).
Now I'm hitting the eject button and the blue light just blinks, and I can't get the tray out manually either.
Did I break my PS2 already? I haven't even played any of my imports yet!

Something's probably jammed in there, open the console and have a look. Otherwise what some people do is pull the tray out by force, and that seems to work for some people (pesonally I don't recommend this at all)

I tried to pull it out by light force, but it will only move a little. I didn't want to break it more, so I left it.. Guess I'll have a look inside then!

yeah opening the console is the safest way to do it I think, although sometimes it takes a bit of poking around to figure out what the problem is depending on your luck

I have heard quite a few cases of this happening, and apparently most people have managed to fix it by opening the console and it was a matter of moving things around a bit, hopefully that's the case for you too :)
