swap magic 3.6 with fliptop problems!!!!!

I just got my fliptopand swapmagic software and the ps model is 7series 39001, anyway this mysecond ps2 the first one stoped reading disc afterinstallion was done and all went to crap so bought today,now the problem I'm having is that when I install the fliptop or after its alldone and try to start palying the drive jams when tring to open or close and it won't read the software can anyone help thanks

Firstly are you sure that you have install the fliptop correctly? if its jamming, its probably because one of the tray parts are not alligned correctly, remove the lid, and place it on again, making sure that the tray moves okay, and while your at it, before you put the lid on again, power up the ps2 and see if the tray moves, it could be something has dropped into the drive, jamming the gears.
