Is this all I need to start loading games on my HD?

I'm really confused to this whole games on HD thing. I get the majority of it though I think.

Is this all you need?
PS2 w/ network adapter
compatible ide HD
WinHiip

So you put images on the HD from your PC through WinHiip, then connect the drive back to the PS2 and play? How do you connect the HD you'll use for the PS2, to your computer? Do you need a network or something o.O? Or can you use a external HD? I'm confused :\

You need HDLoader or HDAdvance depending on whether you have a modchip/swap magic or not, do a search for this.

You can put images either using Winhiip (HDD connected to PC) or HDL Dump (ethernet), again, do some search on this and you'll find the answers, this kind of questions has been answered way too many times already

Yeah sorry, right after i posted this I found a good guide. But can i make sure I'm gonna do it right? Don't wanna buy all this stuff off ebay for nothing T_T

1. using a USB to IDE converter cable, connect HD to pc.
2. use WinHiip to put images on drive.
3. connect HD/network adapter to PS2.
4. use HDAdvance/HDLoader to load games.
5. profit???

that sounds right to me. you'll want to check for game compatibility and HDD compatibility (http://list.ps2hd.com/ and http://ps2drives.x-pec.com/ ). and what do you mean by profit??
