what is the best software to buy to copy original dvds & put on to dvd-r??

DVD Decrypter (free d/l)
DVD Shrink (free d/l) or DVD2One http://www.dvd2one.com/
Nero (is burning app of my choice but there are loads)

I agree with Herbsman. This is the same method I use.... I haven't had a bad disc yet. I always use a +RW to test also. I think the HP 200i is one of the better writers out there. That's what I use.
