its a dual layer dvd

you can get them anywhere (best buy, office max, office depot walmart etc), i would use a good brand such as verbatim though. Oh and check to see if they're on sale anywhere before you get em though.

edit: and good brands of DVD+R would be verbatim and taiyo yuden

DVD-9 stands for dual layer dvd(same side). That means it can contain twice the capacity that a normal dvd(DVD-5) can contain.

You will never be able to put three movies together on the same DVD+R without compressing them. For that you'll need to use special softwares allowing you to compress and even burn these backups on any normal DVD(+R or -R).You can use DVD Shrink or CloneDVD2 to do the compression and the burn. But one thing you should know is that while compressing THREE movies to make them fit on a single DVD will greatly deteriorate the quality of the movies.I myself never put more than one movie(after compression)on one DVD.I use separate DVD as i want to keep the quality same as the original one.

But if you want to get the DVD-9,which is also called dual layer DVD,you can almost find them anywhere, places where you used to buy blank medias.I would recommend you to use the verbatim DL(dual layer)one. But don't forget that of course these discs will cost more than the normal DVD±R.Why don't you use the same DVD+R you always use, they are so cheap nowadays? But it's up to you,i'm just giving you some ideas here.

If there's still something that you don't understand, let me know.

Edit:Mord has been quicker than me in replying but he's right. And right also about the Taiyo and Verbs for the best DVD+R.I use the Taiyo verb DVD+R and they are perfect!!!

First result. Come on, people. Look around before you ask, yeah?

When evolution selects its agents, it does so at a cost, makes demands in exchange for singularity, and you may be asked to do something against your very nature. This force, evolution, is not sentimental. Like the Earth itself, it knows only the hard facts of life's struggle with death. All you can do is hope and trust that when you have served its needs faithfully, there may still remain some glimmer of the life you once knew.

Just for your information a minor correction. A DL dvd does not hold twice the capacity of a SL dvd. A single layor (DVD5) dvd will hold aprox. 4.38 gb and a dual layor (DVD9) dvd will hold aprox. 7.96 gb. As you can see a DL dvd will not quite hold two complete SL dvd's. 4.38 gb x 2 = 8.76 gb. DL dvd = 7.96 gb.

No biggie my friend. Just wanted to point this out.
