is there a way to edit commercials out of a recorded dvd using shrink? I use the reauthor to remove menus from backup dvds but i copied a movie off tv and wanted to take the commervcials out withour having to hook up a second dvd to my dvd recorder. I have shrink, clone and decrpter but not sure if i can do this on my computer? any suggestions? I tried to search the forums first but didnt have any luck, thanks.........

down load DVD Shrink it is free and you cant burn just the movie. when you start it click on reauther let it run when it is done you will see several files you want to click on main movie then click back up make sure you know where the files are going so u can find them when it is done then you can burn good luck

i am talking about taking off the commercials from a tv show...i am not new to burning dvds i just am unsure how to remove several commercials from a tv show, but thanks for your reply

This should link you to some pictures. It would be time consuming to do though if more than 1 or 2 commercials because you would make each segment between commercials a file, then put them together with re-author.

I use TMPGEnc Author to edit out commercials. NeroVision Express will work as well.
