i just want to know to get an install the firmware for a lite on shw 1635s i have try to install it but nothing ist happening.

You probably downloaded a zip file - open it and there should be an .exe file. Open & run that.
You may have to pick your drive and click ok - the update takes less than a minute. May say something like done or successfully (along those lines) and may ask for a reboot. Even if it doesn't reboot.
Before you run the .exe file - have no other programs running, keep the pc on and do not have a disc on the drive.
If it's an external burner make sure it's connected.

libg, I actually have that particular liteon model. It's great! Obviously, I always update it.
