Memorex DVD-R

I bought a lot of Memorex DVD-R and they dont work. On the cover it says I might need to download a firware update and it has the link for the update, but the website is under construction what am I suppose to do?

Memorex already has a bad reputation as being crap media and now following what you said it makes it even worst giving a website for you to update your firmware and on that it's out of service.It's no surprise from Memorex or should i say Memosux,it's always problem on problem.The sad thing is that you already load yourself with lots of these medias.What can i say more,there's quite a lot of good medias out there and they are not that kind of expensive,if you want good quality it's worth some more cents/bucks.Examples of excellent medias(Made in Japan) are Taiyo Yuden medias,either their own brand or under different brands such as Sony,Fujifilm,Verbatim(but they are pretty scarce),Maxell and verbatim(made in Taiwan).


And what is the rated speed for these memorex you got?

yeah we need more info about what burner/firmware you have, what did you burn and what did you use burning the dvd? what speed are the memorex/ and what speed did you burn em at. Did you do a scan of them, if yes post it here. Did you get any errors? But like TY4eer said memorex isnt a good brand so it might just be the low quality dvd.
