OK I have been trying to make backups of these 2 movies with no luck. I have backed up literally hundreds of DVD's with no unsolvable problems yet. These have got me stumped. I suppose I have been riding on the excellent programming of decrypter shrink CloneDVD and AnyDVD to get me through so far. They have all failed me on these 2. I have had to skip multiple VOB files on both movies. I guess from everything I have been reading this has messed up the IFO files blah blah blah. Anyway what can I do? I just downloaded IFOEdit but don't know how to use it yet. I have tried a few things but the movies just don't seem to work. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thx in advance
Dave

AnyDVD has no problems with both movies, make sure your AnyDVD is upto date version 6.0.3.1. Check for dirt, scratches, and give your discs a clean.

You could be one of the unlucky ones to get a badly authored dvd, if that is the case exchange them.

There is another method to try it's free and called DVDFab Decrypter you can get it here http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm and here is a guide on how to use it http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=51904

Sometimes but not always DVDFab Decrypter will leave some of the encryption behind, if that is the case use VobBlanker (free) get it here http://www.jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm and here is some guides: http://www.dvdr-digest.com/articles/article_vobblanker_page1.html

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/334154

VobBlanker will also allow you to cut out / blank out the FBI warnings and trailers and anything else you do not need.

DVDFab Decrypter will break the movies encryption while ripping the movie to your HDD, then just open CloneDVD to compress and burn.

Also, RipIt4Me which interphases with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink will back up all the new encryptions and FixVTS will clean the files used in 1click mode it is easy and it now has movie only file rip. Guide/examples and software here.
