I posted this same topic in the general area, but I got no response so I want to try here.

Just wondering what people's experience with Xmodds has been like? I ordred a premodded PS2 from them recently and I was wondering what kind of time frame I'm looking at. I've tried contacting them a couple times, but I have yet to hear from them.

The only reason I'm asking is I'm going out of town soon and I need to arrange for the package to be picked up by someone so it isnt sitting out on my porch for a week =O

I didn't think it was really double posting since it was in two different forums. No one replied after two days int he other forum so I just considered it pretty much dead.

They will hopefully delete the other thread since this one got an actual reply =D

Actually I think you'll find the mods will think that posting the same thing in two different sections is considered double posting but anyway...

I've never dealt with them (I'm in New Zealand) but I've heard they are not bad, not too sure on delivery time though. Couldn't you just arrange this with the postshop so they keep the parcel...?

I know about Xmodd, but not about Xmodds
Pretty sure they are 2 different sites.
My suggestion is to call them, they do have a 1-800 number.
They would be the best people to get your time frame from as every site and situation is a little different.

Thats the thing. I tried calling them multiple times every day for the last week and I keep getting the same answering maching. I dunno whats up. I'll just have a friend stop by every day just in case it shows up.

big_aug I ordered an MI chip from Xmodds and they waited 3 business days before they even shipped it then it took another 3 or 4 business days, so the pre-mod may take even longer because they just sent me an envelope. Better get someone to pick that package up!

big_aug, you took the right course of action. If they did not respond to your emails over a 15 day period as you told me about via PM, i would have called my credit card company and had them do a charge back as well. They do not deserve your business if they can not even respond to a simple email request.
Let me know if you have and troubles at TM and how that whole process goes.
