Hi can some one help me out am having problems with dvd shink is locking the regional coding on the drive permently after five changes. Is there any thing i can do to fix that?

Usually when u get to that box with the regional coding box u can click no regions and then just go through the pprocess. If it still locks try reinstallation.

I'm pretty sure that after you've changed the regional setting 5 times, you're royally screwed. If not, try flashing it? I dunno. Maybe someone has something on this.

I remember after I changed the setting like 2 or 3 times, I came across this setting for liteon (the make of my two dvd drives) that disables the limit on regional changes.

What kind of drive do you have?

Mr Pablo, check out: Jungle Book Thread. I was having a problem with my region locking up on region 6, and I only change mine once. There's a post on there that contains a link to reset your dvd drive.
