Hey folks. I recently had to reformat my towers. And in the process of re-installing DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter, the programs have become unresponsive. I've attempted to download the software directly from their respective sites and there still seems to be a problem. They don't start up like normal. I have to consistently re-install the programs everytime I attempt a back up.
If anyone can assist me with this issue, I would be very grateful.

what exactly does it do when you open up the program and what exactly happens?
Have you actually D/L them or does the D/L become unresponsive???

just by guessing without your answer i would say you might need to delete an old registry value,
or at least check to make sure there is not one....

ccleaner is a good free program that cleans old registry keys u could try that and see what happens

When you use ccleaner make sure you back up the registry when it asks you, that way if anything goes wrong you can revert back to your previous settings.

this might help: goto your system info, click on tools tab, then clik system file verification tool and run it [on 98se its called system file checker], i have somehow turned my Nero showtime into Nero showtime 2 by running the verification tool! and my sys boots WAY quicker and runs WAY faster, just a nickles worth of free advice ;P
