Infinity Manager & uLauchELF

I have a PSTwo modded with a Matrix Infinity and I have installed firmware 1.88. I'd like to use Infinity Manager, but I don't know if it is already installed with the firmware 1.88 or should I install it from a CD.

why don't you just try to go into infinity manager, if you can then it's installed, otherwise download it from the matrix infinity website and install it

I've already installed it, and I can launch it.
My problem now is that it display an error while trying to install an aplication...

When I access Infinity Manager menu I go to install aplication, but it display an Error Message (without any specific information).
I've use uLaunchELF to install some aplications in the MC so I can launch them by pressing R1/R2/L2 while starting the PS2. I'd like to know if I can uninstall Infinity Manager and this applications will continue working fine. I'd also like to know how to uninstall it.

not sure if you can uninstall it, I never tried this (and I don't use infinity manager either), but I don't see why you can't run the applications through uLaunchELF when and if you can uninstall infinity manager, since all the programs are loaded from the MC anyway and has nothing to do with the chip's memory. I say just leave infinity manager and don't worry about it, there's no harm in it sitting there doing nothing

Infinity manager is installed in my MC so I can access it and delete it as if it was a saved game... But I am not sure if this a correct uninstall...

Yeah that's what I'm saying I don't know if you can actually uninstall it or just delete it... if you got another MC that dosen't have infinity manager then just plug that into slot 1 and try it.. I'm guessing you can probably just delete it, but don't hold it against me if it doesn't work... :)

I'd try this myself except that I don't have my console with me :(

I've uninstalled it by deleting from the MC and seems to be no problems.
Now I have a problem when trying to transfer my saved games from the MC to the USB flash memory using uLaunchELF, do you have any idea about doing this proccess??

I am using a 128Mb Transcend USB Flash Memory, but the problem is tahat it takes too much time to access it and also too much time to paste (or simply create a folder on it), just like it freezes.
Is that normal, or should it go faster??

watch that double post :)

it does take a while to access since PS2 uses USB 1.1 not 2.0... you could try another USB flash and see if it works better
