Has anyone had trouble burning the boxed set of Transformers? I've been using different combinations of DVDFab Decrypter, Nero 6, DVD Shrink 3.2. It encodes fine but when it starts to write the lead-in into the disc it immediately says Burn Process Failed. I'm trying to write to a Maxell DVD-R which i've used hundreds of times and have several several back-ups with this brand. What am I doing wrong?

errors you say? imagine that.... ive had the same problem every now and then, i assumed it was my burner clashing with el cheapo dvd's..and i guess i assumed right, since i switched to a better media, ive had no problems..maxell was one of my problem givers,so was princo, and a few other off the wall brands.[in my case] i just went and switched to SONY +R or -R's

Yeah, I can see that being a problem but it has never been a problem in the past. Could it be that i bought a bad batch of DVD's? Even still I'll get some Sony DVD's and try that.

Only buy the Sony blank dvd's if they are MIJs (made in japan) otherwise it will be crap blank media.

Is it really that much of a difference in Made in Taiwan Sony and Made in Japan Sony? Because it's looking that way to me..the Maxells i'm trying to use are made in Taiwan.

Alright I got my hands on some Made in Japan Sony's with an inner hub # of GH000152. Looking at the TY thread they appear to be genuine Ty's and they are burning beautifully. I was starting to get worried with my old faithfull Maxells. Looks like i'm a Taiyo yuden fan now :) Thanks for the help guys.
