iv been planing on getting a mod chip 4 about a month but during a game with a modder i asked him and he said i dont need a chip 2 modis this true?

This is true, I dont have a chip, all my mates xbox's are without a chip.

its called SOFTMODDING.
BUT be very carefull when you do it.
