I've been using DVD Shrink/AnyDVD/Nero 6 for a long time without any glitches. I've just upgraded to Nero 7 and tried to burn Failure to Launch, but it's not working. The first time, DVD Shrink stuck at 100% encoding and the blank disc started to run and never quit until I unplugged it. I have 3 burners and none of them will work. Anyone have a suggestion?

Hello.

What version of Nero 7 do you have? Some version are pretty buggy it seems. Version 7.0.8.2 seems relatively stable. If you install a different version be sure to use the appropriate Clean Tool first.

Nero 7.0.8.2:

Also try outputting an ISO image file from DVD Shrink and burn that with DVD Decrypter or Imgburn.

That should tell us 2 things: whether DVD Shrink is working and whether your burners are OK.

Let us know how you make out.

Maybe it's the movie/disc itself that has some sort of structural protections, fake pgc or fake vts. Either give RipIt4Me and or DVDFAB Decrypter + VobBlanker (both are FREE tools) a shot and you'll be out of misery.

I've been using Nero 7 Premium since it first came out and I've never encountered any issues whatsoever (i.e. burning wise). So far, Nero 7 has never let me down.

Best of lucks and happy burning.
