hi i have some files in my psp>game that wont be deleted it say it is unreadable and when i open it its all writen in stuff like *$£/?*$% does anyone know how to delete this ?

Get a copy of FA++, (File Assistant) is my suggestion. That will delete ANYTHING.

Search Google. Anything less... would be uncivilized. Just kidding. If you can't find it, PM me.

save the stuff you want on your psp then format your memory stick.

But if someone has a 4GB MS and it's completely full of nothing but games, it would be much easier to use FA++. Good point, manhunter, but it would take way too long...

The only way i found to delete those is to format the ms. FA++ actually made the files when it failed copiying stuff.

Wow, Jared!!! I've never had that happen... Weird. You could also try IrShell. I think that will work, too...

If that doesn't work, try soaking your Memory Stick in hot, soapy water for a few hours. Then try. LOL

I think my 1gb ms might be messed up becuase it seems data gets corrupt on it really easy. Its not a fake(from amazon). It has a 5 year warranty
but i figure if it really stops working in a few years it will be pointless to return becuase by then we will probally have 50gb memory sticks LOL.

fa++ didnt work it said files could not be deleted and wen i clicked on it it said

I had some problems deleting files from my Memory Stick a while back....
Solved the problem by just formatting via Windows.....

and when i try to backup my psp folders it says it cant be moved and somthing about the source ??

I had the same problem just create a folder called psp at your desktop and drag and drop everything worth keeping but leaving the #@&$%&@%T(&^ files then go to system info at your psp main menu under settings and scroll down until you see format ms then confirm it then put everything for that folder that you kept. Note: remember to sort your files after formating your ms...Example MS/ISO/Burnout.iso. Hope this helps

as it was sugested b4 format the memory stick on with the psp!
that deletes everything. if you want save the game date onto your computer and put it back on the stick after formating!
