Hey everbody, I am new here and I hope this is in the right spot.

I am having trouble getting Magic Keys 2 (the third peice) to fit in.I understand the fact that Sony put a metal peice near the coil/spring in to prevent the use of magic keys. However people have gotten around it. They either took it out or did something. I have a black slim ps2 (SCPH-75001). Will Magic Keys 2 work with it? How do I install the 3rd peice? Please help as I have gone to 2 other forums already and neither helped me. I have been at this for 3 days now and am desperate for help. Please help me.

The third piece is the trickiest. You may have to change the angle of the foot to allow the top piece to be straight enough to close the lid. When you put it in it doesn't need to be forced, if it is in the Right position, it will work, just play with it. Trust me it is better than chipping.
EDIT>Do a google on magic keys, you can find a video that shows how it goes. Good luck.

Have to disagree, I think a modchip is far superior than swap magic, you never have to worry about rebuilding and swapping, and it can do so much more than what swap magic can. Good thing about swap magic is it's relatively easy to install and it's cheap

Nevermind I got it in before any one posted. I had to bend the foot like some one posted.
