Basically, I've got an update file for Football Manager 2006. It's taken me ages to keep up with. All new transfers correct, all the proper league names, etc, etc.

Basically it's a lot of hard work and I want to start selling these updates on eBay. Now if they sell well, people can easily just copy the disc they get when they buy one and have a market out of MY hard work. So is it possible to make discs unable to be copied!

I know this is a rediculous question because computer game companies cannot stop people backing up games so what's the hope for me!

Well I have a little hope, Pandora's Box, a game for PC, is the only game I havn't been able to back up, I also tried it with my uncle who's an expert and computers and he can't back it up!

Perhaps I could have the same with my FM2006 update?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Cheers

No chance! There are many apps. that are designed to get around copy protections. Besides if you are looking for a copy protection you can pay for one which can be expensive but serves no point.

Pandora's Box can easily get a beat down from Alcohol 120% which is SafeDisc protected.

Hi,
There is no copy protection that cant be broken, but there is a little "hack" that can work. search google for cd overburning, I never really did it, but my friend did. send me an email at aliks0905@gmail.com and Ill call him. He says that when overburning the cd, it makes it completely readable, people cant burn it anymore because its too "big" to fit on a cd. check it out.

before you do any of the above, check this link out:

good luck.
