Adding mp3s to my motorola v220?!

ok so far ive downloaded the motorola usb driver and mobile phone tools...when i load MPT up, the cell phone skin loads up and just stays initializing forever...am i missing something? it also says no modem installed...what does that mean?

did you have some pop ups to install the drivers, you need to have those installed before it will work.
I know with mine i installed MTP and it went through a set up process that would find the phone and install the drivers, did you do this?
The MPT should install drivers so that when you go into the hardware profile screen and look under modems it will show Motorola as one of them. I did not download any seperate drivers for the Razr phone when i did this, the MPT did it all by itself.
