I just d/led a bin/cue file in svcd format. The bin is in 3 tracks. I tired to burn it with nero and alchol 120% but it didn't work. When I tried extracting it with dameon tools, I opened the mpeg 2 folder...there was a 18 meg file and a 700 meg file. I copied over the 18 meg file fine but when I try to do it with the 700 meg file, so that i can just watch it on my PC it always locks up.
Did you burn the cue file? I do dvd2svcd backups all the time and I always create bin& cue format as it is the absolute best! If your still having troubles with Nero then try a freebie burning application called BurnAtOnce.

When you extracted the file go to the MPEG folder and open the 700 megabyte file and play the movie from your hd with your favorite media player. Be sure to burn NO faster than 8x.

My problem with nero is that it says "Turn off DAO or turn off like multisession" something like that..before I burn it...it says there is a conflict. Then I turn one of, but then it bombs.
I really just wanna extract it only my PC but everytime i try it says like "Invalid peramaters" or it locks up.
Use a freebie burning software program called BurnAtOnce and hopefully you can get this file burned with no problems m8. You can also use a free program called CDMage to extract the entire contents of the bin\cue file so you can play on your hd. Open CDMage then go to the folder where your bin\cue file is and drag the bin file in the upper left hand dialog box. Click the image and you should see the movie located over to the right. Right click the mpeg2 file and click extract and save to another folder.
