Hi to all,

I'm running xp pro and never knew how or what command to use to fix all folders and registries.

Please let me know.

Thanks

The question you ask has no answer. Why? Because you are not being specific with what's causing the problem. There isn't a one fix for everything....

Thanks for your response Morph.

I don't have a problem in xp, is just that I read in another thread that there is folder fix function?? that can be used instead of windows restore. Is that correct?? I mean, Is that so?? Because I never new of it, and at the time I read it sounded worth trying (if needed).

But for what you're saying is just windows restore, right??

Thanks again.
:D

That depends on the problem. I steer people away from using System Restore or a Repair install unless it's absolutely necessary. You can lose valuable information/files/updates...installed programs...etc.

Folder properties have default settings. You can also reset all the folders in a drive to it's default settings by clicking on Tools, Folder Options, Restore Defaults.
