hi i have the xbox 360 samsung drive. i hacked it like 2 months ago. havent yet bothered to copy a game!!! i have original fifa 2006 road to fifa world cup. how do i rip this game?
plz help asap

Newsgroups. That's the only way to do it, unless you have access to an elite private server. I can usually download 2-3 Xbox 360 games in day depending on what else I am doing. Most ISPs provide a free news service, but they usually aren't that good. I use Giganews which is the best at $25 a month and worth every penny. Here's a guide to fill you in on how newgroups work. It a lot to read, but it's good info. So try to read it all and ask question you have after. It's more complex than bit torrents or website downloads, but once you get it down you will rarely think about downloading any other way.

I'm not sure I post it here, but there are only 2 newsgroups with 360 in the name and only one of them is for 360 games. Also it's name is at the bottom of if page of the last I posted. BTW I use Xnews for my newsreader.

WOW i just tested it out and damn! thats fast! it goes at 500KB/s which is my 38$/month connection's max!!
i wish i have teh $60/month 2MB/s connection!

No problem. I should have added it depends on your connection and there's a good chance it would be even faster for you than for me. I use Xnews, because it's good for reading text groups toom but Grabit is good for downloading binaries. It should all be the right files one download. You may need to repair with quickpar. Most post come with PAR2 or Par files, but you probably read that in the guide.

yes i have read that those par files replace the missing. Currently im DL a game.
right now i see all the part.rar files but NOT THE acutal .rar needed to extract. there are also 7 or more files such as vol001+01.par2... and these are big too!
how do i know exactly whats missing btw?
So i have say 7 par files, that means there are actually 7 orginal fiules missing?...

PARs will come with the RARs most of the time, because stuff happens. A lot of time you won't even need the PARs/PAR 2s. When you double the click the a PAR file and you have them associated with Quickpar you'll see what missing or damaged when it checks the RARs.

hey man.
DL 6.5 GB in 2:4 hr. WOW! thats hott. anyway, i get it now with quickpar, par files are like .sfv files tha check integratiy, only .par will do something about it when coruppt or missing. Ok so it shecked it and everything was ok.
But is it really efficeint? because i DLed 640MB worth of par, and needed non of it!

I always DL the pars, because you never know if you'll need them. I mean what's the difference really in 640MBs when you DL at 500kbs? You'll eventually need them at some point. BTW could a mod do something about the sig of that idiot Kopkilla9 above me?

i thought this was neccesary to post. why is the muslim religion mocked so much? it is although the fastest growing religion in the world, so more people i changing to islam. but christianity is the biggest.

yes seriously. I can see why the muslim faith is looked-down upon more than ever now. But keep in mind it's only territots groups that happen to be muslim and are using that as an excuse to do harm. dont get that mixed up! I fully respect the religion, very intresting too.

1) There are not many games on there and even fewer ones that seem to have all the parts to it. am i missing something?

Hi can i just say a HUGE thanks to Memnock, after reading what u weote and ur links i decided to look into newsgroups as i had heard about them a bit before.
WOW seriously woops bittorents ass for speeds.
Although bittorent i feel has more of a choice because you can d/l stuff from a long time ago usenet newsgroups max's out your connection and you dont need to upload. on bittorent i was getting around 30kb's for games with my 4mb connection now im hitting over 500kb.

In order to use newgroups u need:
1- a hosting company, in my case i use newshosting.com, best ulnimited download plan at month, 40 day retention
2- news group software, i use newsbin vers 4, hate vers 5
3- and the new, i recommend (i hope this is allowed here, i f not please mod just delete it) newzbin (use google) and nzbrus (use google)
The hard part here in configuring the newsgroup software, else is a joke, and yes is hard at the beginning and i read many tutorial but is by so far the best way to download.
