hi!

I've got a PAL ps2 console with dms4 modchip and hdd.
I'm going to travel to NTSC tv system country.
I want to know if i'll can play with my ps2 in a NTSC tv or I need to buy anything.

You'll need to buy an adapter (transformer) so that the US power supply can power a PAL PS2, since PAL PS2s require approx 240v of power as opposed to NTSC PS2s requiring only 120v. And also an adapter for the plug, since ours are 3-pin & US one's are 2-pin.
Also, your PAL games will be in black & white or have rolling screen unless the TV can support both the 60Hz NTSC norm & the PAL 50Hz that our games run in.
If you buy any games in the US, then you'll be okay since your PS2 is modded.

EDIT: This same question was already asked in a topic posted only a few hours before yours. In future use the forum search function.

Most good, modern, TV's will play both formats just fine. But as above you will need some kind of adapter to power the system up in a US outlet. I play both PAL and NTSC games on any TV that i have plugged into so far here in the US. Then again most TV's here are made in Asia anyway :)

get a power inverter/transfotmer (check your ps2 and see the lable on the transformer, if it says "input: 100-240v" you dont need an inverter just a plug changer)
as said above some tv's will not suport different frequencies. (htz)
this will cause the screen to look like a very old video with bad tracking! "the good old days, no blu ray dvd"
