You seemed to have done it correctly. What type of media are you using to burn to?

Will the DVD play in your computer?

If so most likly it is a DVD meida issue.

What brand of DVD miedia are you using? Plus make sure your DVD player suports the foramt of the DVD nedia your using. If it is DVD+R media then your DVD might have trouble playing it.

hi there mate just a suggestion i dunno if you want to do it this way but you can back it and make it so shrink makes the movie into .vob files in "Audio_ts" and "video_ts" folders. you can then burn these onto a dvd playable in your dvd player and computer etc etc. This is the only method i use i have never had to make a movie into an .iso as this always works perfectly for me each time.

Let me know if you would like any help or want to know some more about this method, im more than happy to help anybody out whenever i can =]

righty oh then matey i think i can help point you in the right direction =]

http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/how_to_copy_dvd_movie_wit...

what you wnt to do is follow that guide but i below i have basically exaplined it in simpler terms and skippd the compression etc etc basically i have not included all the stuff that you dont rly need to do if you just simply want to back it up with no hassle or compression etc.

You will find that you simply insert your disc then click on open disc button at the top then slect the deive its in. Then it will read it let that finsh should take around 1 - 2 minutes or something. then you want to click the backup button at the top then make sure that the "backup target" is "hard disk folder"

then in the box below make sure that you are saving it to the folder where you want it to. then make sure that the box is ticked next to the option that says "create video_ts and audio_ts subfolders.

Now you're set to go it would take roughly 40 mins usualy to back up a full disc with menus etc. then once done it will say backup complete then go to your folder wher you have saved it to then open youre burning program (i use Nero) so i select burn dvd video files then it opens up with an empty audio_ts and video_ts folders. you then double click the video_ts folder so it opens - it will be empty. then u right click and select add files. you browse to the folder wher shrink backed it up to and open the video_ts folder and click and drag so that all of the files within that video_ts folder are highlighted gray then select add files then you'r ready to burn

hope this helps you out mate =] any questions or anything im here to help
