Is there anyway to patch a game from PAL to NTSC on a mac?

I've just became desperate... I can play a game on my PS2 but the image is larger than my screen, I'm guessing it's PAL and that's why i have this issue... I can play but i need stuff that goes in the corners in order to advance and if i adjust the screen I can't se the other corner and viceversa so I will neve get thru with this games unless ANYBODY can help me with solvin this issue on a MAC running Tiger 10.4.7 PLEEEZE HELP!!!
