I'm using CDRWIN 5 to burn an AVI to a CD. I'm burning as data and have no itention to turn it into a VCD. The AVI is 702 megs, and I'm burning on 700 meg CD-Rs which have so far worked fine for everything but this, I've already tried burning slower.

When I load up the file after burning it, my player tells me 'Invalid Format (DIV3)' and Media player won't load it. DivX player will, but only after about 10 minutes of not doing anything. The file works fine on my hard drive and I'm almost certain I have all the codecs I need..

Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

It looks like the AVI (DivX) file was encoded with DivX 3x codec. Try installing DivX 3x then see if the clip will play. I recently downloaded some DivX files and they wouldn't play. I went back to the website and they said I must have DivX 3.x codec installed m8.
