Is there no other way to load PSX back-ups?

Is there no other way to load back-upped PSX games through PS2 without a Gameshark (I sold my old one last year.) or without Code Breaker, because they are difficult to find without using eBay which I will not use.
Would it be possible if I were to try it with an non back-upped PSX game?

try breaker pro or get a modchip, almost all modchips now support PS1 games
