I think allmediaoutlet.com has the G03 in stock. Both the silver top and the new Logo top. They're the same price. The Logo tops are kinda cool looking.

Sony Dru-500AX w/Veritas RecordNow DX 4.6 & Nero Burning Rom
DVDShrink, DVDDecryptor, DVD2One, DVDXCopy

Perfer Ritek and Verbatim or FujiFilm when local computer store has them on sale.

Not going to drag this out...

Listen orfus, I have VERBATIM DATALIFE DVD-R (with the blue words for little orfus)... if you put one of those blanks into your computer, and run DVD DECRYPTOR, you'll find the manufactor's ID is RITEKG03... Now shut up until you try it, and then you'll see I am correct. So stop being a little @ss...

Thank You for the correction about cappish...

I hope you understand now! CAPPISH...

boriqua what type of dvd-rw drive do you have and what firmware? I ask because if your'e using hacked firmware that might be why youre seeing verbatim as G03's and to both of you schmucks, its capishe.

If you know what you are talking about, then you will know that Cappish and capishe will not be found in the dictionary. Its slang. Cappish originates in Sicily qith the Mafiola and Capishe, found in American movie scripts is a dialect Difference forund in the USA Mafia going back to Al Capone era.
As for Verbatim, they are not G03. Sorry, you are wrong

Good one with the cappish (<-- I prefer the way you said) Damn good researching!

As for as the Verbatim goes, I be more than willing to mail you a couple of these blanks, just so you can check them out! I don't believe Verbatim makes G03, but they acquired some and stamped their name on them. Now on this issue I prefer the Verbatim DVD+R because I have yet to have a skip, freeze or any type of problem with them. Which I do with half of the Verbatim DVD-R.

I use:
Pioneer A05 (DVD-R) (original firmware)
Philips DVD+RW228 (DVD+R) (original firmware)

Rip with:
DVD Decryptor

Compress with:
DVD2One

Burn with:
DVD Decryptor or RecordNow Max

DVD Player:
PS2 - Its known to have a weak laser. Basically, if it works on the ps2 it will work fine on all the other players.

I have yet to run across any major problems with any movie a/o game...

Boriqua - i enjoy our banters, they r good fun. I expect to ahve a lot more of them in the future with ya. ;-)

You know - i was holding out to buy an A06, but i think i might just get an A05 - what u think of yours?

You know, with slight modifaction, the A05 will read nad possible burn +R anyway!!

Oriphus - I think we achieve results from different paths, and that is always interesting and challenging... Kewl...

Well, I don't know too much about the A06, but its the talk of the town... I basically go with whats proven and works... The A05 has yet to let me down. Not a single bad burn related to the system. I'm using it on a P4 2.56ghz Win XP. No prob at all...

I don't like to hack or modify my burner or firmware, cause I'll end up with junk...

I am just as curious about the A06, but I sticks to my A05 for now, can't be beat for the price. Around $189 or so...
