I have a V7 ps2 with a fliptop and own:
Swap Magic 2.0 DVD
Swap Magic 3.0 CD
Action Replay Max

I have been trying to install an exploit such as HD Loader to my ps2 for 4 months now and I not been successful.

Ive tryed using the independance installer and booting it with swap magic cd but all i get is a red screen that i fugured means error.

Ive also tryed the action replay max save method but it copys it to the memory card and when i put the ps2 trigger disk in it loads the game as normal.

I have looked around but i cannot seem to get this to work.
Any ideas?

why do you want to use the MC exploit when you have swap magic? Also you need to use a PS1 not PS2 disc for triggering the exploit...

Also the reason i want to install an exploit is so that i can run Hdloader because i have already brought a network adapter and a hard drive so it would be a waste of money not to

Double check the disc ID in the exploit files. Make sure it matches the game you are using. Also, make sure boot.elf is named BOOT.ELF (caps).
