I backup all my dvds on to my HDD, cuz they dont last long in my house when the kids get hold of them and use them as a frisby. I hav a few red coloured discs but DVD Shrink just gives me a copy protection message. Can anyone help me out here with another easy to use progy that might work. any advice would be much appreciated. thanks.

Those are ARccOS protected disks and Shrink alone cannot do them. Download the free ripper DVDFab Decrypter and then rip to your HDD and process with Shrink and burn as usual.

If Shrink still gives you a problem with the file then run it through the free program VobBlanker and the use Shrink.
