im new to modding the xmb and i just wanted to know can i just change the wave and not have to change the icons aswell? also is there any reliable guide for modding the xmb?

anyone know where i can find some xmb submenu icons at? most of the icons i want to use from the "fat pack" dont work with the xmb submenu icon injector.

alls you have to do is go in to recovery - advanced - toggle usb flash 0. then you place a "system_plugin_bg.rco" to vsh/resource folder :)

dude wheres the vsh/resource folder located? i cant seem to find it do i just create one? if so where should i place it in?

Do a hard reset on your PSP so it shuts off by itself. When you turn it back on, Hold R.
But I shouldn't be telling you this b/c if you don't know that much, you're prolly gonna be coming back to this thread w/ a brick. ;)

no, one is there, you go to recovert, then to advanced, then to toggle usb flash 0. on the folder that appears click bsh, thena new window opens an it says resource, it goes in there

Ha..my thoughts exactly. Oh and btw, that xmb is sure is..unique..since prolly no one has a seen that before :P You made that with MS Paint right cause know you dont have photoshop. The one made by Undertaxxx is the 5hit11, thanks for the link guano.

lol thanks i do know how to go to recovery mode and do hard reset, it was just that when i was looking around the folders in my psp i couldnt find the resource one and i probubly will come back with a partial brick or something =[

okay people, put together a new theme, edited the icons an got that (fnx zingaburga) for your app. everything else was downloaded but this looks effective an i like.








what you think. i like :P, oh yer made the battery too by editing guanos original,(thanx man)

The colourful one is real nice, but I'd lose the red PSP writing. The colour scheme is really cool, reminds me of skittles, lol. Did you have to photoshop in the reflections underneath the icons?

yeah it looks nice mate,but i agree you should ditch the red psp writing it spoils it,but thats just me :0p
i wish i had some time to change my theme,its just the same as when the thread started really, only added colour to the icons like loading and battery stuff like that :0\
