I have tried using SmartRipper and DVDDecryptor, both with the same results.

The audio, when playing from the DVD is fine, so it cant be the DVD itself or the speakers - I had wondered if my rabbit had been up to his old tricks! ;o) I have also tried it with a few different DVDs.

After encoding, when I test the VOB files in Windows Media Player, the audio is awful! It is crackly, sort of fades in and out really quickly.

Another thing is that SmartRipper says: "ASPI adapter available, no ASPI access to this drive, switch to WinIO". Mean anything to you??!

Since this has happened with two diff bits of software I is thinking there must be somethin set up wrong here! Can anyone help me?? Pretty please!
