do i have to patch the .xbe file in the game with Qwix to then make an iso to burn to DVDR or thats only for some games????

u always have to patch the file before u make it an iso then u can burn it.

Quix should automatically patch it.

Whenever I back-up games I do it over my home network straight from the Xbox's DVD drive.

true thats how i do it straight from the d file into my hard drive then i use qwix to make it to an iso but without patching it then image burn but now i know i have to pach it thats why i think it gives me the dirty disk error

What I mean is that I'm having the Xbox stream the information off the disc straight to Quix and having it processed directly into an image file. I don't even bother ripping it to my Xbox hard drive beforehand.

Also, make sure the original is in good condition and isn't dirty.

all you have to do,is click create ISO and pick the D Drive as the Desination....it will create a Ready To Burn Xiso on your pc for you....i have never had to patch anygame and i have a lot of games....
