I am trying to watch HBO movies from my media cneter and they will not play I was on the phone with dell for an hour and they didn't know how to fix it does anyone know how to?

Are these movies you recorded? Are you able to watch them on your computer? What happens when you try to play them?

No they are not recorded I just go to guide and when I clck on a HBO movie to watch it says CANNOT PLAY PROGRAM This channel may not be supported if you cannot tune to any other channel restart media center and/or your computer....and all the other channels work

they are just movies that are on tv when im trying to wacth them like if i went to HBO on my tv I could watch them so they are not recorded and regular cable channels work fine but when I click on a movie to watch it it says CANNOT PLAY PROGRAM This channel may not be supported if you cannot tune to any other channel restart media center and/or your computer.

Do some research but I believe that HBO and other movie channels have setup preventitive measures on this.

that what I thought but the dell people said it is supposed to work on my computer if it works on my tv so idk Im just gonna go without it.
