hello!! need help w/ my ps2 39001. i want to install a hardisk on my unit & i already got a network adaptor recently. my question is, my friends told me to get a new modchip so i could put the hd loader data on my memory card because my lens is almost dead coz i've been using it for about 3 years now. so i could load the hd loader data even if my lens is dead already. so what modchip should i use & how do i transfer the hd loader data to the memory card? thanks in advance!

thanks dan! your a great help. one more though...just discovered that my lens is busted so i cant load the hd loader cd. i heard there's a way to load the hd loader to the memory card so i dont need a working lens no more to boot loaded games? thanks again!

you need a modchip with DEV1 mode, the two I've listed above will do that

yup,i ordered the matrix infinity already. but my question is,how to put the hd loader disc data to the memory card so i can boot hd loader from the memory card instead of the hd loader disc? coz my lens is dead already & wont read anything no more. thanks for your time!
