I purchased the newest version of codebreaker which is v 9.3, and I have downloaded some updated files for NCAA Football 2007 and wanted to add those files.
So I copied the files to my flash pen and gave it a shot. It looks to me like the Ps2 doesnt read/recognize my flash pen. So after trying that flash pen and was unsuccessful, I tried another. I got the same results!
After paying $30 to purchase this codebreaker and having it shipped express, im about ready to fling it out my car window at about 80 mph down the interstate!!
If anyone knows how to help me out...please drop a line!

Its not the Codebreaker's fault that your pen drive isn't compatible with the PS2!
Anyway, it uses flash drives, which are somewhat different. Try an MP3 player instead, it recognises my LOGIK 256Mb MP3 Player, or check Codebreaker's site for the list of compatible flash drives.

no no no. Same thing happened to me. The flashdrive has to be formatted. Stick it in your computer, copy everything that is on it somewhere else because anything that is on it will be erased. Now click my computer, right click on the flash drive click then format. Now where it says fat32 click on it and make sure it says fat. Then click on start and it will format. If this doesn't help look at the instruction manual you bought and it gives you these instructions.

If he was able to copy files to the pen drive, as he said above, then it was already formatted, otherwise windows wouldnt of recognised it!

It could have very well been formatted in NTFS. It may also depend on the size of the drive. For some reason I have had better success using an old Fuji drive with a mere 256mb instead of todays newer 1-8gb models. I've also read it might make a difference whether it is in fat16 or fat32 but I personally never had a problem with either using the Fuji drive.

yes windows can read things to it and copy things to it but codebreaker wants it to be formatted a certain way. READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL!!!

Im having the same problem with my PS2 Slimline and Codebreaker. The PSP was verified to be compatible with the Codebreaker, and it's already in FAT format. But it just doesn't get recognized. Makes no sense whatsoever.
I wonder if the new PS2 Slims are designed not to accept USB Drives?

the ps2 dosent read it you have to go and start up codebreaker and go to the part that says day1 then you can see the cheat files you downloaded then just read the directions at the bottom of the page then it will send you back to the main page go to the cheats part and look for the cheats for the game

he'd probably have to go into the memory management area instead of day1 since it's a roster update he wants to transfer. speaking from experience, I use a crappy old 64mb kanguru flash drive formated in ntfs and so far every cheat device I've tried to use has recognized it. (i've tried the first GS that supported them, ar max evo and codebreaker v9.2 and they've all worked)

@logan wrong room. @Others you need to format you flash to FAT. I had that problem then I bought and other flash think it didnt work but then realize the problem and felt stupid. But now it works.
