Since you have modchip, the autoinstaller disk (AID, Slayer,etc..) is all you need.

first, do not format anything.
- download any of autoinstaller disk. Extract it and burn the iso to DVD-R.
- Turn on xbox with that disk inside the dvd drive to see if it load.
If yes, then you success. Then I will guide you more.

you need bit torrent software. So google and download and install on PC. Then try to download it.

Go here http://www.mirc.com/index.html and DL mIRC then go and LOOK for the the "TOOLS" you will need It will not be easy to find BUT you can find and DL everything you need to have a VERY HAPPY MODDED XBOX The average game is about 2gb so a 250gb HDD will hold about 125 games "remember you must have all the original games to have them on your HDD" ;)

ok return i got it on a dvd and it booted up in the box wat do i do with the hard drive??

Well format it the way you would like the partitions sized then install a dashboard, and if you have another older hard drive with backups on it, you can used chimps to copy it.

This sounds like alot if your xbox is hardmodded (with a chip) cant your chip just FTP the drives's contents to your pc put in the new HDD have hte chip format it and FTP the drives back to your new hard drive itll keep everything the same just have more space (thats how i did mine) i never used a auto installer disc bc my chip does everything what chip do you have and does the auto installer mke the drive modded?
