this is my idea of awsome,how long it is till this actually gets achieved(no idea)But i doubt any time soon...

ok so say let's take SmackDown VS RAw 2007,now we all know that is going to be a awsome game,but what if it was designed in such a way that teh engien coudl adapt to downloaded content,say teh game woudl have it's own storyline etc,but every week,you could downlaod weekly smackdown or raw episodes,like say last week,they had the ppv and booker t beat ray mysterio,what if you you could downlaod,the whole setting and the entire ppv your self,and play it on your ps3,what if you could downlaod every week's smackdown and raw and you could play it with the same storyline and stuff just as it was on tv this week...just imagin,that would be so freakin awsome!!!,but the thing is how do yu make an engine for a game to adapt itself like that and another thing how do you do that much programming in a week...but still i think it's a great idea!!!

It's a great Idea but they would have to charge for the downloadables.That would be lot's of work each week so I don't see it being free.

The real reason they don't do something like that is because then you wouldn't need to buy the next game.

yeah your right...but if it is a big hit,then they might even make more money than if they just brought out new games every year.i personally wouldn't mind paying for downlaoding it,i'm a wrestling addict

I would buy it too.But games like gta would suffer big time because everyone already buys it.Basically it would be great for some games but for others it wouldn't make financial sense for the company.

I wish this type of thing could be done.I wish they would think about us and not there pocket book so much,but that's how they get rich.Kinda sucks.

@beeftaco lol that was funny.

And about this new wrestling game coming out, I haven't played that franchise before. Does it control like the old WCW vs NWO game for the N64?? I love that game to death and even imported the Jap version of that game because it had tons more features.

From wikipedia..

An autopsy revealed that Guerrero died as a result of acute heart failure, caused by undiagnosed arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease and enlargement of the heart as a result of prior anabolic steroid abuse. Although Guerrero had not taken alcohol or illicit drugs for over four years, his past excesses contributed to his heart failure.

Thx.

wow man he was young too.It's sad because it seems like wrestlers die younger than most other folks.I remember when owen heart,brian tilman,british bulldog,..etc died all very closely together.This was back in the day like a decade ago.

I don't watch much wrestling I still watch ufc and boxing though,I stopped watching about when wwf purchased wcw.Sad to hear he died,Him and ray mysterio were real popular back in the day.I remeber his fling with china to that was funny.

I have thought of something like that instead it could be like a never ending games, for example instead of having call of duty 1,2,3 you could have just the first one and the end of the game you'll have a code to purchase the second part online or get some coformation online that way it would let you start playing second part from them same disc so in all you'll have all the continous parts in the same disc plus after you fininshed with all part of the game you can download the newer version of the game that way if give developers time to make the game in 3-4 parts.I know it takes months even years to make a game so we would have to take that in to consideration. So when you started this thread it was like what I was thinking , but they would either have to get the story from the wwf and whoever else is involed to give up the stories way in advance that way you'll have the download update of the last fight or you would have to read the future. Over all I thought this was a great idea.

There is no way in H-E-Double Hockey sticks that a company would do this for free. It is a great idea but if some company is gonna do this you better beleive they will be in it to make alot of money

First off, making weekly updates like these is physically impossible at this time, not to mention the costs it would bear due to the enormous amount of work and the time limits it would impose on the programmers.
So it's not possible, and even if it was, it would be sooo expensive most of us common people wouldn't be able to afford it.

Good ole latino heat was a classic wrestler,funny guy and it was sad what happened to him.The games controls in the sm,ackdwon vs raw series are similar to the wrestlemania game for gamecube.

I agree with The_Fiend. Making a game or even just updates every week is impossible with the time frame. They need to design , plan out, then make it which is a process that takes a very, very long time.

I don't it could ever be like once a week or something but once a month on a team just dedicated to one game and doing this job is not out of the realm of possibility. Just like with what GTA will do on the 360, having episodic content for download, a game could do this. You pay a charge every month and get some new levels to play every month

@the_fiend

Everything new was impossible at one point. One day that will happen and has happened to a degree in some pc games.
