BURN PROCESS FAILING

For almost a year now I've had no problem using DVD Shrink with Nero. Then about two weeks ago, all my burning attempts started failing. I hadn't changed anything. I redownloaded Shrink and Nero, even DVD Fab Decrypter, which I use when DVD Shrink won't work by itself. Still no go. Inserting the last failure message I received. Can someone help?

Unfortunately I can not help you with the understanding of the error message. But I would suggest editing your post and removing your serial number. Do not want the "wrong" people to get stuff like that.

you should check to make sure your firmware for your burner is up to date your burner does not reconize your media that you are using go to firmware.com for the latest updates

your firmware for your drive is not up to date latest update is TU55 you can get this update at Toshiba.com this update will allow your burner to reconise more media alsi increase writing speed

Failures are usually caused either by bad media or your drive's firmware not recognizing a new set of discs. Other than Taiyo-Yuden or Verbatim, you don't know what you're getting, even if you've been using the same brand for ages. I had loved Memorex - I burned 1000+ with maybe a dozen coasters - until Memorex up and decided to use Ritek G05 discs. Then I got coasters left and right. I see you use MCC-coded media which is the same as Verbatim, but try something else like TY. Also make sure your firmware up-to-date by checking rpc1.org or your burner's manufacturer's site - it could be Verbatim (or whoever) changed disc types and your drive does not know how to handle these. Only if that doesn't solve the problem should you look at other causes.
P.S. can you burn regular DVDs fine? Is this just a problem with ReWritables?
-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.
