I've recorded 4 tv shows (each being an hour long) and extracted the commericals from them leaving about 43 min. for each episode. Each file is around 1.95gb in mpeg format. I would like to put all 4 on a standard 4.7g dvd. Is this possible? Do I need to convert the files to another format to make them smaller so they'll fit? I don't mind losing a little quality.

Can you import mpeg files in DVD Shrink?

um...i think so, im 85% percent sure. You will have trouble burning MPEG files tho, you might as well go ahead and convert them to a DVD format and the use shrink.

If you have Nero, you can import all four files, add a DVD title page and let Nero shrink it to a single layer size.
