alright here's the deal. I just bought a v220 off the net (i was using a dinosaur and needed a phone to tide me over). So I was trying everything to get the mobile tools to work, awesome tutorials here on this site and others but still no luck at all, I discovered I had the v220ens version, and no drivers were around for that...so 50 hours of searching later, I as about to give up,I uninstalled the driver and figured hey lets just try one more time...guess what? still no luck :-( so I live updated...still no luck, then it occurred to me, why not live update again, and I was able to, and BAM a string of updates (about an hour of updates with wireless cable) after that I just let the program work its magic (didn't use any of those p2k drivers) and it detected everything it needed, so I suspect this works with all motorola phones...and there you have, just live update to about version 4.4 or something like that and you'll be good to go
