my xbox was not working it had red lights and was makeing beeping noises. Today i tried to install a modchip to see if i would solve the problem, without me doing anything exept turn it on the xbox booted normally but did not go to the dashboard it only starts up the green flubber and the xbox logo on a black background then it stays like that.
Would installing my xecuter 2.6 modchip let me use my xbox agin properly?
i am also having trouble installing it, i am using the xapter solderless adapter ( the 1.1 - 1.5 model) when i put it in the mod chip does not light up with a blue LED i have tried tighning a screw that i found as the one that came with it does not work and the one one the motherboard also does not work.

the solderless adapter should work the screw it came with is actually 2 screws it should be able to screw apart...and hopefully the chip will fix the problem....

ok i have progressed, the LED lights up and the bios screen comes up but how do i flash the chip by a CD to get it working

download and extract this and burn it using Nero....it is the same bios i use on my xbox...after you flash it,use AID 3.0 and install your choice of dash on the E Drive.....i would prefer unleashx

cool can i confirm that this includes the bios cos on the screen when i enable my mod chip it says bios from disk
do you have a xecuter 2.6
does this work on PAL xboxes
also on the spec for my chip it only says evox compatible can i still install unleash X

sorry if this is double posting but i have flashed the chip and it now begins like the normal ms dash but it says xecuter rox my box can i now play back ups
also do i have to use AID because that is a big file and i don't have a big download limit

how can i FTP i have the MS dashboard when i boot up the mod chip that tutorial says you can only do it with evox or avalaunch

well what happens when you boot bank 2 dont it go back to the flash bios screen???from there you can FTP.....and you can used unleashx on the X2 dont worry....
