I am having a serious problem with my xbox. I softmodded it and then swapped the hard drive out and now when I put in any game that was made after 2004 it refuses to load the game. Can anyone please offer any solutions?

I would try using XBHD manager or config magic, reformat the drive and reinstall your softmod to see if that fixes it. backup your C & E folders first meaning FTP into your Xbox copy/tranfer the C & E folders to your My Docs folders or burn folders onto a CD to make a data disc.

So If this doesn't work what should I do then? Would getting a mod chip help?

First I used the Splinter Cell Exploit to install EvoX using nkpatcher .06. This worked until I put in a larger hard drive using xboxhdm v1.9 and following a tutorial I found on this site to the very literal letter. This was successful however I no longer had EvoX and was booting up to the default MS dashboard and ran into the problem of not being able to play any games that were made past the year 2004. In an attempt to fix this issue I again used the Splinter Cell exploit however this time I installed UnleashX using the SID v 3.0 package. This did not fix my issue and through a series of downward spiraling decisions I ended up with an error code 13 and an error code 21 at the same time. I fixed the error code 13 and now I am at the point where I have an errpr code 21, no MS dashboard, UnleashX installed, and I am with out the ability to play ANY game released after 2004.

EDIT: Thank you guys for all your help I reformatted my larger HD but this time I didn't copy over my old saves. Thanks again for the suggestions.
