Well !
Other than BestBuy it looks pretty much like garbage week Huh! Oh! well We can pray they're all MIj's ( It could happen!!!) Right ! well maybe some Mij's Mixed in amongst the Taiwan Sony's More likely or atleast possible ! I suppose we'll find out soon enough... Good luck Sportsfans!

The Fuji DLs are very good. All the ones I have are RitekD01, though I understand that they also use Ricohjpn media as well. So far 28 burns with no problems. Knock on wood.
-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

SonyD21,both made in japan and taiwan-with the round gray spacers. There should be some Yuden000-T03 coming around shortly.
SonyD21 is pretty decent. I rate it up there with Ritek-P16.
Anybody pick up any of those staple's 20 pks of DVD+R DL that's on sale for around $30?
I was curious to see how they ID as.
BTW: Staple's have the Epson r-340 for $130 and no rebate involved!!!

i had to go to wal-mart and get some maxell 16x DVD+R because supermedia wants way too much for a 100pk .the maxell 16x are CMC-MAG...ouch!

Taiwanese sony +16x will codes as Sony D21.Same with the japanese spindles-all with the round gray spacer.
If they were the japanese yudens,then Yuden000-T03.Those spacers are white/octagon shaped. Just look for those spacers when you find sony media on sale.
My bad, movies27. I told you SonyD16 earlier. That's more like the sony dash 16x- which should be Sony16D1 or Ty-g03-my bad.
