does any usb keyboard work with ps2?

I bought a usb keyboard today, mainly to use for chatting in online games. The strange thing is it works fine with one of my games (syphonfilter) but doesn't work with the other 3 (burnout 3, fifa world cup 06, and fight night 3). With these 3 the lights on the keyboard don't even come on at all. I never thought this would be game specific. Is there something I could be doing wrong? Do I need to do something in these games to enable the keyboard? Do I need some kind of special playstation keyboard?

Yes, any keyboard will work, but not all games have a use for the keyboard & I think the 3 games you mentioned, are 3 such games, because they use comms.

by "comms" do you mean the audio headset? I have that also but it doesn't seem that useful. Whenever I'm online I see maybe 10% of the users have the headset, and those that do are usually screaming 12 year olds. It seems strange that they would disable the keyboard.
