When backing up discs I usually only leave English subtitles on but on some discs you can see up to 10-15 "unspecified subtitles".
Does anyone know what these are likely to be and am I missing out on anything by removing them? (It seems to be mostly on newer DVD's)

It could possibly be the subtitles from the director's and various actor's commentaries during the movie.

u can try running the folder that u riped thru VobBlanker before u use shrink and see if that gets rid of them

I don't necessarily want to get rid of them, just identify what they are. The director's and various actor's commentaries are usually identified (if audio, large file). The files I refer to are usually zero megs and there could be 15 of them. I thought they might be the famous blank sector?
