Does anyone know why there is a mess load of extra crap encoded to Music Video DVDs? For example I just got a copy of "Awesome, I...shot that", the new Beastie Boys documentary/music video, and I put it into DVD Shrink only to find that there are 5 audio streams (not that big either), yet on the green bar up top there is a lot of red filling up the end. When I deselect ALL audio streams, the bar is still red! Anyone have any ideas?
Since it's a music DVD, they want sound to be above average. They record it at a different level (think MP3s that are 320, 192, 128 kbs). In the end, it's better for us since the sound is great.
Before freaking out though, I'd check to see if there's any sort of encryptions on it. Check it with AnyDVD or run it through something like VOBB.
If not, use a DL disc. I've always said if the DVD is worthy of a backup, and I really like the title, then I'll use the DL disc.

Alkohol's guide is also very good. That can be found elsewhere on this site.
Don't get your hopes up though. I'm quite certain that there's no special encryption on it and the only reason why it's 'unshrinkable' is because of the way it was recorded (for sound quality).
