when i have my modem connected to my pc and compared it to when i have it directly hooked up to my 360,there is a bigg diffrence...
and that is when i go online on my 360,it's about 4 times slower than when i go on my pc...why?

i have noticed alot of lagg and the headset is almost never responsive so its usless to talk (in my expereince).

my experience is bassed on how long it took me to downlaod a 480mb demo off live,compared to how long it takes on my pc,and there is huge diffrence...

i dont have any problems ive got my 360 networked thru my pc. also my downloads do pretty quick an im on a 2 meg connection, only seen lag a couple of times as well, an ive never had a problem with the headset

It's gotten even worse now,i was online and i tried downlaoding the rainbow six vegas demo(477mb),it took 20min to do 1%...!!! :(

Then i went back online with my pc and downloaded the fear extraction point demo which was 500mb in 25min!

Maybe you have some background running. I'd advise turn off any file sharing software and do a spyware sweep of you PC and see how it goes.

I do notice quite a bit of lag in games lately (well more than we should have for an 8mb connection and $7 a month for XBL). But as far as downloading demos and videos, it goes a little bit faster than my computer which probablly runs at around 900kps down.
