No, I am not asking about Swap Magic. I am asking about PC emulation. Ok, I have a ps2 game and after I used DVD Decrypter to read through ISO and Burn through ISO to a dvd, will the PS2 emulator run the game then? I only want to play on the computer, so I don't need swap magic.
If I am correct, could you give some detailed instructions for the DVD Decrypter?
Thanks. But please, reply.
Not another PS2 emulator question!? That's 4 this week!
There's no such thing as a working PS2 emulator. At best, they could run early ps2 demo's, but they certainly won't run a modern, full game.
They're buggy, and graphics look & run terrible on what they can 'run', if you can call it that.
Though if you place a proper bios, you can get a mint performance. I needed a straight answer (which, I don't understand: did you give it to me) not a complaiment about how many times it have been asked or etc. Thanks anyways.

I would say he was pretty specific with the above qoute. Having the BIOS image from a PS2 means nothing when it comes to the ability of the emulator itself. Plain and simple. PS2 EMULATORS DO NOT WORK FOR COMMECRIAL GAMES!!! Some people just for fun have had sucess getting games to boot (I have played Darkwatch on my PC at a framerate that would make you insane.....6 fps), but no game is actually playable due to the complexity of the PS2.
Oh......by the way, use the search function of the forums. This has been discussed over and over again. No point in us constantly having to repeat ourselves.
Though the game isn't very big only 600 mb. It's not very modern but, yeah it's only out in Japan. framerate -> 6/sec os pretty god , compared to prince of persia at 1/ 3 seconds.
Oh btw, I do own a PS2 slimiline. I am doing this stupid emulator thing because I don't want to spend $100 of expenses just to play some VS game on my PS2. Just count how much money it costs --> Swap Magic, Game, Shipping, Time.

You are kidding right? 6 fps is good? That is no where near playable.....c'mon, be serious here. Size of the game has no impact on how fast the emulator can interpret and render graphics. You have already been told by others here who have rather extensive expereince in both the computer field and the PS2 field, including me for the second time, that no commercial games are fully playable on an emulator. Just leave it at that. Sure, the emulators are fun to goof around with, but thats about the extent of their use right now.
